Colorado River Adventure

From the Grand Canyon's South Rim to Grand Canyon West
Your adventure begins from Grand Canyon National Park Airport in Tusayan where you’ll board your deHavilland Twin Otter Airplane bound for Grand Canyon West.  This airplane is specially designed for air touring with large windows and high-wing construction so you can get the best pictures possible.  You’ll also have taped tour narration in your choice of 9 languages.

After one hour of magnificent aerial views, you’ll land at Grand Canyon West on the Hualapai Indian Reservation, where a helicopter waits to whisk you to the very bottom of the Grand Canyon!  Grand Canyon West

It’s a thrill a minute as you weave between canyon walls 4,000 feet high before touching down on the canyon floor, where you’ll climb aboard an 8-passenger pontoon raft for a leisurely cruise on the Colorado River.  This part of the river has no rapids, so this trip is appropriate for children.

Afterwards, it’s time for a breath-taking helicopter ascent back to the canyon rim, where you’ll embark on a Grand Canyon rim tour by motorcoach.  Your final destination, Guano Point, is where a light lunch is served against a dramatic panorama of the Grand Canyon.

After lunch, it’s time to board your Twin Otter airplane for the return flight to Grand Canyon South Rim.
