Your adventure begins with shuttle bus service from your Las Vegas hotel to the Boulder City Municipal Airport, where you’ll board a Scenic Airlines fixed wing airplane bound for Grand Canyon South Rim.  As your plane glides over the vast expanse of the Mojave Desert, Hoover Dam and Lake Mead come into view.  These marvels of 20th century engineering changed the face of the American West, transforming it into the economic powerhouse it is today.  As the land rises before you and lake becomes river, you’re now over the Grand Canyon!

After about an hour’s flight, you land at Grand Canyon National Park Airport, the 2nd busiest airport in the state of Arizona.  Here, it’s time to transition to the next part of your day’s adventure, aboard Papillon helicopters.  After a brief check-in at Papillon’s state of the art heliport, you’re up and away!  Crossing the South Rim of the Grand Canyon near Grandview Point, you’ll soar across the widest deepest part of the gorge, peering 5,000’ down to the heart of the canyon – the Colorado River.   Soon, you’re face to face with the Grand Canyon’s higher, more densely forested side – the North Rim.  This side of the canyon, which is only open for part of the year, supports plant and animal life the drier South Rim does not, such as aspen, oak and birch trees, and the distinctive Kaibab Squirrel.

Soon, it’s time to head back to Grand Canyon South Rim via the Dragon Corridor, one of the Grand Canyon’s most photogenic areas.  You’ll catch up with the rest of your tour group inside historic Grand Canyon Village, where you’ll have time to stroll along the canyon rim or shop for mementos of your Grand Canyon tour before hopping back on the plane and heading back to Boulder City.  You won’t believe how much you got to see and do in one incredible day!

Lunch is also included in the price of your tour, as is hotel shuttle service from most major hotels on the Strip or Downtown.
